We collect one thing, for one reason, and you can have it deleted by replying to any message we send. That is the whole policy — the rest is detail you are entitled to.
Who we are
Merfonte, an online skincare store opening in 2026. Written to at hello@merfonte.com. Until the company is registered, the data controller is the founder, reachable at that address.
What we collect
Your email address, and only if you type it into the waitlist form yourself. Nothing is collected from you by visiting this page.
This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and contains no tracking pixels — no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no session recording. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means Google receives the request for the font file, including your IP address. We plan to self-host the fonts before launch and remove that too.
Why we hold it
To send you one message when Merfonte opens. That is the entire purpose. We will not send a newsletter, we will not sell or share the list, and we will not pass it to a third party for marketing.
The legal basis is your consent, given by submitting the form. You can withdraw it at any time.
Who else touches it
The form is handled by Formspree, which receives the submission and forwards it to us. They act as a processor on our instructions. Nobody else has access.
How long we keep it
Until we have told you we are open, or until you ask us to delete it — whichever comes first. If Merfonte does not open, we delete the list.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to us holding it at all. Write to hello@merfonte.com and we will act on it. There is no form to fill in and no reason you need to give.
If we handle it badly, you can complain to your national data protection authority. In the Netherlands that is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
